What is the most pressing issue facing the office you are running for and what do you plan to do to solve it?
My most pressing issue is enhancing public safety, economic revitalization, youth empowerment and transparent governance. What I plan to do is implement strategies to reduce crime and strengthen community police relations. I aim to attract businesses, support entrepreneurs and create jobs to improve the city’s economy and quality of life. Recognizing the importance of investing in the future, I plan to expand mentorship, education and recreational programs for Harrisburg’s youth. I am dedicated to fostering an open and accountable government that listens to and acts on the needs of the people.
Please outline two examples of how you are improving your community.
Through empowering the youth through my non-profit organization, as CEO Michaels Memory/ P.U.S.H I offer mentorship, counseling, hosting many events bringing the communities and families together both in the city and surrounding areas.
What would you do in office to benefit and help young people?
I would add on to what I’ve already been doing in our communities with more resources behind me. I’ll be able to invest in our youth expanding mentorship programs, education and recreational programs.
What is an issue that you are passionate about and why?
I am passionate about public safety. Being affected by acts of violence in my life and losing many of loved ones. I understand what it is to lose someone dear to you due to acts of violence.
What is the last book you read or what is your favorite book?
The last book ive read is called “The 48 Laws of Power” and The “Quaran”
Is there anything else that you would like the Young Democrats to know about you or your campaign?
I am very dedicated and passionate about the work I’ve done and continue to do for the City of Harrisburg and the surrounding communities. And that’s a reason why I am known to the many communities as “The Street Mayor” that’s something I take pride in.
