What is the most pressing issue facing the office you are running for and what do you plan to do to solve it?
Lack of experience in how local government is supposed to operate. I would bring 15+ years of experience in a variety of local government capacities to the board of supervisors.
Please outline two examples of how you are improving your community.
Work with local staff to implement alternative roadway use for walking and biking. Attending local government meetings and taking advantage of the public comment section to raise issues of concerns and areas for improvement.
What would you do in office to benefit and help young people?
Bring all ages into and under the umbrella of good government run right to prepare the next generation for governing in a way the is inclusive and beneficial for all.
What is an issue that you are passionate about and why?
Open meetings act (aka sunshine law). Without appropriate public input and oversight government operates in a secret vacuum.
What is the last book you read or what is your favorite book?
Oh Tyranny. Peace is in Every Step.
