Do you pledge to run a campaign that supports the values of the Democratic Party and to support Democratic candidates, where possible, in the 2025 Primary?

What is the most pressing issue facing the office you are running for and what do you plan to do to solve it?
We are a densely populated municipality that still needs more safe affordable housing. I will continue to support training of Borough code enforcement officials to inspect properties and enforcement property maintenance codes to ensure properties are clean, maintained and safe. I will also work with investors to create additional new affordable housing.
Please outline two examples of how you are improving your community.
I work to help at all of our Borough community events. I also work with my husband Shawn to organize community cleanups throughout the borough
What would you do in office to benefit and help young people?
It’s a priority of my to create new summer park programs for kids. Idle hands get in trouble. I also will continue to support programs the borough administration have created such as the Juvenile Engagement Unit that bridges the gap between the police and our youth. It also identifies kids at risk and helps them not end up in the juvenile justice system or worse
What is an issue that you are passionate about and why?
I’m passionate about our environment because it’s the only earth we have and being a good steward to the environment ensures we have clean water and sustainable food resources
What is the last book you read or what is your favorite book?
There Once Were Wolves
Is there anything else that you would like the Young Democrats to know about you or your campaign?
I think it’s so important for Democrats to stand up and challenge Republicans up and down the ballot.
